"Sotto il Segno di Hercle - storia di un dono" (Under the sign of Hercle - story of a gift) Espera Eds. 2022.

What was life like in Santa Marinella, on the Tyrrhenian Sea north of Rome, in the year 500 BC?

This novel contains a meticulous reconstruction of the daily life of the Cerveteran Etruscans in the era of their apogee: the names, the historical events, the landscape and the environment, lived through the daily experiences of a twelve-year-old boy, in the temporal space of a spring, between exciting excursions in a still uncontaminated nature, an archaic village life, the development of agricultural, textile and maritime technologies, the great commercial and military enterprises that marked this era.

Simone Tarrone has created a plot of daily adventures, placing it on the foundations of a precise work of historical, archaeological and scientific reconstruction obtained from the consultation of the most recent documents published on the subject (the bibliography can be consulted on Academia.edu)

A reading tailored for those who intend to deepen the knowledge of their origins and those of the society in which we live. A reading that can reserve surprises and unexpected points of interest and that has the specific intent of motivating and encouraging greater curiosity towards our roots, in the hope that this will then lead to greater respect and protection for the immense cultural heritage that we must keep safe for generations to come.

"Il gioco di Northia" (Northia's game) Espera Eds. 2024

The adventures of Arath continue, the always curious and tireless Etruscan boy, who has already taken us around to discover the fascinating territory of the Etruscan Cerveteri of the year 500 BC. This time, the object of his attention and his reflections will be the arcane world of the central Apennines, a place long considered isolated and inaccessible, but in reality well known by ancient traders, who went there in search of riches, to traded with the local populations, creating a fertile crossroads of trade where the amber route intersected with those of skins, wool and salt. The Safinùs, as the shepherds of those mountains were called, always ready to take refuge at the top of their high fortified cliffs, had the reputation of being indomitable warriors and expert craftsmen. They worked iron and bronze creating weapons and precious ornaments with mythical figures of fantastic animals, they had their own alphabet and they also managed to codify the state of belligerence. Due to their rough character, hardened by bad weather and ungrateful nature, they were enlisted and respected as mercenary soldiers by neighboring peoples. Not only were their warrior skills handed down by historians, but also the democratic and community qualities of a people who did not build cities, but distributed themselves over the territory in a scattered and widespread manner, to make the most of its ecological possibilities, creating a balance between man , domesticated animal and nature that has managed to last millennia. Arath's adventures intertwine this time in an adventure of love and tragedy, in an engaging and passionate crescendo, which will only reveal itself at the end of the book.

This time too the novel is based on precise scientific documentation and the bibliography is uploaded on Academia.Edu. Also on this portal you can read the first chapter of the book.
